Meet Ayla, one of our TJLF grant recipients. 💛
Ayla was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, a rare form of leukemia, and has spent the past two years going through treatment, hospital stays, procedures, and clinic appointments. At two different points during her journey, she was unable to walk and had to learn to walk again.
Through it all, Ayla continues to bring so much joy. She loves wearing dresses, playing pretend with makeup and in her kitchen, playing with Barbies and baby dolls, singing, dancing, and anything involving music. ✨
Through a TJLF grant, Ayla’s family received a Cargo Family Bike. Now, she can ride alongside her brothers from the comfort of a wagon seat, see new things, and experience the joy and excitement of new adventures with her family. 🚲🌟
Her family shared:
“To be a recipient of such a supportive foundation means the world to our family. It means that we can continue to focus on Ayla’s medical treatment and her needs. It also means our family can take new adventures and continue to heal from such a traumatic two years of her life. We are truly so thankful for your kindness and support during this difficult time in our lives.”
