With help from several generous donations and the Nafpaktian Brotherhood of New York for helping with the shipping cost, Friends of Hellenic Firefighters shipped this pallet load of tools and equipment to the Hellenic American Search and Rescue Team in Nafpaktos, Greece. Pictured are some of the wildland fire tools, hose adapters, Milwaukee tools, exhaust fan, and rescue tools.

Today, I had the distinct honor of receiving two awards from Nikolaos Apostoloy President of the Evia Rescue Team - S.A.R.-312. With the help from several generous Friends of Hellenic Firefighters we have provided fire and rescue equipment to his team. Thank you so much for this recognition.

Friends of Hellenic Firefighters is pleased to be shipping this load of fire and rescue equipment to the Hellenic American Search and Rescue Team in Nafpaktos, Greece. We want to express our appreciation to our friends for their generous donations and special thank you to the Nafpaktian Brotherhood of New York for their support of the shipping costs.
The equipment will improve our structural and wildland firefighting capabilities, and enhance our urban search and rescue operations, and technical rescues.

Friends of Hellenic Firefighters and the Hellenic American Search and Rescue Team would like to express our appreciation to the Naupactian Brotherhood of New York for helping the shipping costs and to Diego’s Pallet Services, LLC for the two pallets. We should have this fire and rescue gear and equipment in Nafpaktos, Greece in a couple months.

Thanks to a generous donation, Friends of Hellenic Firefighters acquired a DJI Magic Air 2 Drone for the Hellenic American Search and Rescue Team in Nafpaktos, Greece. The drone is a critically needed piece of equipment for locating missing people, aerial observation of wildland fires, fire damage assessments, and many more uses.

Since the Hellenic American Search and Rescue Team has assisted the Fire Brigade on incidents involving snakes, these tools and bags will help to ensure the safety of the public and firefighters.
