Open free program on Pruning Trees and Shrubs as they age. Framingham Garden Club welcomes you to our next program and meeting on October 14, 2026. We are looking for new members and hope to give you an introduction to who we are and what we do. Doors open at 10:30 for mingling and the program begins at 11:00am promptly. Our business meeting follows.
Location: Plymouth Church, 87 Edgell Road, Framingham, 01701
RSVP by clicking Send Message and include your name and the number of people attending. Including your email also would be helpful but not required.

Ellen Scheid, horticulturist at the Mary May Binney Arboretum in Milton, MA, will share how to prune trees and shrubs to keep them healthy, with a special focus on native plants. Ms. Scheid also will cover how to care for trees and shrubs as they age, what signs of disease to watch for, and how to choose the right trees and shrubs for a New England landscape.
