Virgil understood: Fortune favors the bold.

Leadership MetroWest’s new Small Business & Entrepreneur Scholarship, funded by MainStreet Bank through the Main Street Group Foundation, offers a life changing opportunity for a MetroWest small-business owner, entrepreneur, or solopreneur by covering full tuition costs to our flagship leadership development program, the Leadership Academy.

The Leadership Academy is a year-long program supporting MetroWest’s community leaders through monthly public discussion, site visits to local organizations, and hands-on community service projects.

Small business leaders bring essential perspectives to conversations about the MetroWest Community’s future. This scholarship is our commitment to making sure those voices are in the room.

For 40 years, Leadership MetroWest has been developing community leaders across the region. Graduates leave with lasting connections, deep knowledge of MetroWest resources, and a clear path to scaling their impact, and joining a network of more than 1,000 alumni doing the same.

Both the Leadership Academy Applications and Scholarship Applications must be submitted prior to June 15, 2026 for consideration.

Links to both can be found here: https://leadershipmetrowest.org/leadership-academy/

Themes of Public Art, Governance, and Representation beautifully intersected this past Thursday during our Leadership Academy’s spring visit to the Massachusetts State House and to Embrace Boston. Our heart-felt thanks to Massachusetts Senate President Karen Spilka, MA State Representative Jack Patrick Lewis, their wonderful staff members, and to Embrace Boston’s COO Duncan Remage-Healy for their hospitality and incredible insight. It was a day we won't soon forget. Senate President Karen E. Spilka Rep. Jack Patrick Lewis Embrace Boston
