2025 was a transformative year for the Providers’ Council and Massachusetts’ human services sector 🌟 As we celebrated 50 Years of Impact 🎉, we also faced unprecedented challenges and responded with advocacy, education, and strong member engagement 🤝

From advancing key legislative priorities 📣 and hosting regional advocacy events across the state, to delivering nearly 70 trainings 📚 and graduating hundreds of leaders through our Suffolk University partnership 🎓, the Council continued to strengthen the workforce and elevate the sector. A sold-out 50th Annual Convention & Expo brought nearly 1,200 members together to reflect, connect, and look ahead 🏨

As we enter 2026, we remain committed to our core mission: supporting providers, strengthening the workforce, and advancing a resilient, community-based human services system across Massachusetts 💙

At our June 4 legislative briefing at the State House, researchers, policymakers, and human services leaders came together to discuss the findings of Stretched to Capacity: The Workforce Crisis in Human Services and what must be done to support the dedicated professionals who serve our communities.
