✅ FACT: Most people living with PTSD are not violent. More often, they are struggling with anxiety, fear, sleep disturbances, or emotional distress.

PTSD is a mental health condition, not a character flaw.

✅ FACT: While many veterans experience PTSD, it can affect anyone who has lived through or witnessed a traumatic event.

June is PTSD Awareness Month, and at Heath's P.A.L.S, it serves as an important reminder of why we do what we do.

We recognize that many veterans carry wounds that can't be seen. PTSD affects millions of people, including those who have served our country and faced experiences most of us will never fully understand.

This month, we encourage everyone to learn more about PTSD, help break the stigma surrounding mental health, and remind those who are struggling that they are not alone.

This year, we're especially grateful knowing that, thanks to the support of our community, Tucker is currently in training and will one day be partnered with a veteran in need.

Awareness starts conversations. Support changes lives.

🩵 Meet Tucker 💙

This week, the very first Heath’s P.A.L.S. service dog officially left to begin training. One day, he’ll be partnered with a veteran living with PTSD.

What started as an idea to honor Heath is now becoming something real! Knowing Tucker will one day provide comfort, support, and companionship to a veteran means more to our family than words can say.

We can’t wait to follow Tucker’s journey. 🇺🇸🐾

Memorial Day weekend has always held a special meaning for our family.

It’s a time to honor those who served and made the ultimate sacrifice, while also remembering Heath, his love for people, his servant heart, and the legacy that continues through Heath’s P.A.L.S.

Every year, our golf tournament becomes more than just a day on the course. It’s a gathering of friends, family, supporters, and a community that continues to show up for Heath and for the mission that means so much to our family.

This Memorial Day, registration is officially open for the Heath’s P.A.L.S. Golf Tournament @ heathspals.org

Every detail is being planned with Heath in mind.

Thank you for helping us continue to honor Heath’s memory in such a powerful way. We are endlessly grateful for the love and support surrounding this tournament year after year. 💙🩵

Today, we were honored to award the second Heath’s P.A.L.S. Scholarship at Fountain Inn High School.

Hayden will be attending Clemson University in the fall to major in Psychology, a field dedicated to understanding, helping, and supporting others, which is something that perfectly reflects the heart behind Heath’s P.A.L.S.

What makes this scholarship even more meaningful is the connection her family shares with Heath. Her father is an Army veteran, just like Heath, and that bond of service, sacrifice, and commitment to others makes this moment especially special for our family.

Through Heath’s P.A.L.S., we hope to continue honoring Heath’s legacy by investing in young people who lead with compassion, character, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of others.

Congratulations on this incredible accomplishment. We are so proud of you and excited to watch all that you accomplish at Clemson and beyond. 🧡💜
