Hey, we’re all good here in Fountain Inn, all the animals are fine we’re fine, just no power, cell phone, service, water, or Internet. But we’re good.  i’m just about not reachable unless I drive into town. If you need me you’re gonna have to come out here lol. Anybody who wants to come help us muck, come on. The horses have been stalled since Thursday so there’s aplenty!

If you've ever wondered what we spend on feed and hay for the many rescue animals at our farm, it's been roughly $52,000 this year. Seeing that I (Kate) had a major health hurdle earlier this year (I'm okay now), I couldn't take in as many animals as we usually do in a year but now more than ever we need your visits and donations!

It’s Giving Tuesday! Please consider our rescue for your donation to help provide for the horses and animals, we are a very seasonal business and every dollar donated helps during the winter months when we don’t see many guests, admission to the farm supports our animals, but in Winter that drops off. Our rescue mare arrived first thing this morning, she has made a soft landing but has a long recovery. She is so pitiful and we are showering her with the love and comfort. She is much more underweight than she appeared in her pictures, she has some deep gashes on her side, her eye is cloudy and weeping fluid, she is dripping thick mucus from her nose and she was STARVING. We have her in quarantine and she can’t be visited until she is cleared healthy by our vet, which hopefully will be soon! She is sweet and talkative despite the horrific long term neglect she has suffered! We feel honored to be the ones to be able to help her heal and get healthy again and to give her the life she deserves.

We are in need of a 40 HP or greater tractor with a front-end Loader. Do you have an anything sitting in your yard needing TLC? Four years in and we are still no where near being able to purchase a tractor. If you have one that you would like to donate, please let me know! Our new rescue boy is in quarantine from the other horses and is being treated for an upper respiratory infection. He feet were trimmed and he is loving the farm. He is happy and relaxed. He met Poppit and the other goats and is curious and sweet with them. His favorite pets from humans are on his face. He is a kisser and a lover. No name yet, but it's coming!
