As we celebrate Independence Day weekend, we often think about the freedoms we enjoy as citizens. Yet another kind of freedom may be even more important: the freedom of the spirit.

What keeps us from being inwardly free? What are we ready to be free from, and what are we ready to be free for? How do we release fear, old stories, resentment, and limiting beliefs so that we can make room for courage, peace, joy, and new possibilities?

Dr. Nancy Little joins us to explore the spiritual journey of inner liberation. Through inspiring stories, practical insights, and reflective moments, we’ll discover how true freedom begins within and expands outward into every area of our lives.

That's the spirit behind our COOL Summer (Coloring Outside Of Lines) series. This season, we're exploring fresh ways to connect, learn, create, serve, and grow together. Because sometimes the greatest discoveries happen just outside our comfort zone.

Our summer Metaphysics at the Movies series explores the deeper spiritual truths and metaphysical themes woven into beloved films, inviting us to see ourselves and our lives in a new light.

In our final film, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, a group of travelers arrive expecting rest, comfort, and clarity… and instead find something far less predictable—and far more transformative.

What if the moments that feel like endings are actually invitations into a new way of living? What if uncertainty isn’t something to fix, but something to walk through?

This Sunday, Rev. Aliza joins us virtually as we explore how life continues to unfold—often beyond our plans, preferences, and timelines—and how the willingness to stay present in the unknown becomes the doorway to something deeper, freer, and unexpectedly alive.

This Friday at 6pm, we’ll watch The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel as part of our Metaphysics at the Movies series and follow a group of retirees who decide to begin a new chapter by moving to India—only to discover that “less than perfect” can still be deeply meaningful, surprising, and full of life.

It’s a story about second chances, unexpected adventure, and the idea that it’s never too late to grow into something new.

As our community prepares to honor the life of Stella Fair, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on the impact she had on Unity Fort Worth and the wider community.

For more than 32 years, Stella was a valued member of Unity Fort Worth. She brought her convictions to life through service, generosity, and active engagement in the world around her.

Many knew Stella for her tireless commitment to civic participation. As a voting ambassador, she encouraged voter engagement, helped people register to vote, and distributed voter education resources through the League of Women Voters. She believed deeply in the power of every voice and worked to ensure that everyone had the opportunity to be heard.

Stella's life reminds us that spiritual principles become transformative when expressed through action. Her legacy of service, empowerment, and community involvement continues to inspire.

The family will be holding a funeral service on Wednesday, June 24, at 11:00 AM at Tree of Life Funeral Home. Those who wish to honor Stella's memory are welcome to attend.
