Saddened to hear of the passing of the great Bill Franke ... a member of the Fort Wayne Komets ownership family and truck works engineering retiree who didn't hesitate to get a donation from the team for us in Year 1. He also helped arrange a special Harvester night with a couple of Komets legends during a game a few months later. His daughter recently reached out and donated her father's IH collection to our museum efforts. He will truly be missed as he was a champion cheerleader for us. If you can't be there live to see this amazing parade at 10 a.m. on the 4th, be sure to watch it streaming at 21Alive or on TV live. Not only will you see our trucks out in full force, we have been given a very special honor during this event that makes us very proud!

Celebrating 250 years! 🇺🇸

The City of Fort Wayne’s 4th of July Parade is this Saturday downtown. Residents and visitors are invited to line the parade route along South Calhoun Street, from Creighton Avenue to Main Street.

The parade begins at approximately 10 AM led by a ceremonial flyover from the 122nd Fighter Wing.

For all those inquiring, we are aware construction will close Meyer Road during our festival and we are planning out how to best have everyone enter off of Coliseum Blvd.
