Giving young people everywhere the opportunity to know Jesus. We are rural and urban and we are always about the message of Jesus.

At YFCNIN, it’s our aim to grow our ministry to unchurched students— to those in desperate need of the restorative love of Christ. We’ve established a variety of ways for individuals and organizations to join with us, because ministry to students is unique to every community. Every day at high schools, middle schools, community centers, juvenile institutions, coffee shops and local hangouts, YFC staff and volunteers meet with young people who need Jesus. Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana is committed to pursuing and impacting teenagers in their world, sharing the hope and love that God has for them. In pursuing teenagers, YFC will consistently strive to develop safe, bridge-building relationships with young people through the different programs that we offer. As students come to know the hope and love that God has to offer, our belief is that a teenager’s life will be forever changed!

What a night!

We gathered to celebrate 75 Years of Stories, and we’re still grateful for every conversation, every laugh, every old photo, and every story shared.

For 75 years, God has worked through people who chose to show up. People who prayed, volunteered, gave, opened their homes, built relationships, and walked alongside young people as they discovered hope and the love of Jesus.

And the story includes you.

Whether you’ve been part of Youth for Christ for decades or you’re just getting to know us, thank you for being part of what God is doing across Northern Indiana.

We’re grateful for 75 years behind us, and we’re excited to see how God will continue writing the story in the years ahead.

75 YEARS OF STORIES. ONE FAITHFUL GOD.

For 75 years, God has used caring adults, trusted relationships, and faithful presence to make an eternal impact on young people across Northern Indiana.

And behind every story are people who showed up.

Staff. Volunteers. Donors. Church partners. Friends. Mentors. People who gave their time, opened their homes, prayed, gave generously, served faithfully, and believed in what God could do through a ministry committed to reaching young people with the hope of Jesus.

Now, we want to celebrate you and all that God has done through 75 years of people simply saying, “Yes.”

Join us for 75 Years of Stories as we reconnect with old friends, share some incredible stories, enjoy dinner together, explore a mini museum of YFC Northern Indiana history, and reflect on the last 75 years.

This is a chance to come together, remember, give thanks, and celebrate what God has done.

☀️ YFC Camp was a whole lot of fun!

Now that school is back, we had to take a minute to look back at some of the memories from one of our summer camps.

Good times. New friendships. Lots of laughs. And plenty of moments we’re grateful to have shared with young people this summer.

We’re thankful for the caring adults, volunteers, and partners who helped make these experiences possible.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to share what God is doing through the Allen County School Prayer Initiative! 🙏

Our Ministry Director of Campus Life, Traever Wieland, recently joined Love Fort Wayne’s Geoff King on the Love Fort Wayne Podcast to talk about the heart behind the initiative and the importance of coming together to pray for our schools, students, and communities.

We’re grateful to be part of this shared effort with Love Fort Wayne as we work together to cover our schools in prayer.

We believe prayer matters, and we’re grateful to see God bringing people together around our schools, students, and communities.

What a summer! ⛳️

This summer, friends and partners across Northern Indiana came together for four golf outings, all with one greater purpose: creating more opportunities for young people to experience trusted relationships, consistent care, and the hope found in Jesus.

And this year’s YFC Classic was especially meaningful as we celebrated the 50th Annual YFC Classic!

The golf was fun. The fellowship was even better. But what made these outings matter was what they made possible beyond the course.

While you were on the course, students were gathering at camps, events, clubs, and ministry activities across Northern Indiana. Caring adults were showing up, building trust, walking alongside young people, and pointing them toward Jesus.

Because of your partnership, more young people have opportunities to be known, valued, and invited to follow Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who played, sponsored, volunteered, invited friends, and helped make this summer possible. We are grateful for the way you continue to show up for young people.

Allen County youth are telling us something we can’t ignore.

Even with access to resources, many are still struggling with depression, isolation, and hopelessness. What’s becoming clear is this. The answer isn’t just more programs. It’s more trusted adults showing up consistently.

We’re grateful to be part of a conversation today with leaders across Fort Wayne who are committed to that kind of impact.

To everyone investing in relationships with young people in any way, thank you. You’re helping change the story.

Please join us in welcoming Arthur Wilson as our new Urban Ministries Director! 🙌

Arthur is no stranger to Youth For Christ Northern Indiana. As a Fort Wayne native, he has served our ministry in multiple seasons, first as a staff member and later through nearly nine years of faithful service on our board. Most recently, he has been serving with YFC USA, and we are grateful to welcome him back to lead in the community he calls home.

Arthur brings a deep commitment to helping young people experience trusted relationships and opportunities to know Jesus. His experience, leadership, and heart for Fort Wayne will help strengthen our Urban Ministries as we continue walking alongside students across our city.

We are thankful for Arthur and excited for the relationships that will be built, the lives that will be impacted, and the opportunities young people will have to encounter the hope of Jesus through this next season of ministry.

Last week, we gathered 26 floors up at La Vetta in Fort Wayne for our Urban Ministries Luncheon, soaking in sunshine and a beautiful birds eye view of the city.

It was a powerful afternoon as we heard from the City Life and JJM teams, learning how we can impact students right where they are. We were also excited to hear from our new Urban Ministry leader and to see students serving throughout the event.

We want to give a huge thank you to our panelists and to the students who helped make the event so special. Be sure to scroll to the end to catch that incredible view of the city.

God is doing something special in Fort Wayne, and we are so grateful for everyone who joined us. We are especially encouraged that several people committed to praying with us, new volunteers stepped forward, and others chose to begin supporting the ministry financially.
