Meet Ashley! This dedicated team member brings compassion, dedication, and heart to the work she does every day. Before joining the TaskForce a year ago as a clinical therapist, she supported children of incarcerated parents, helping youth and families navigate difficult circumstances. 💙

As we wrap up National Police Week, our team continued visiting and thanking partners at the Miramar Police Department, Gainesville Police Department, and Hollywood Police Department. We are grateful for the heroes who work every day to keep our communities safe, and we honor the lives of those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others. 💙

As we approach National Police Week, we pause to honor the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who protect our communities each day, especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Our Rural Engagement Coordinator, Ahmad Beckford, recently joined Putnam County, FL partners for UPLIFT at Grace Fellowship. The LSFHealthSystems UPLIFT initiative supports churches and faith communities in responding to mental health and homelessness challenges.

TaskForce Vice President of Programs, Jacob Torner, led a session focused on reducing street homelessness and the important role behavioral health services play. Our team was also joined by resident TaskForce therapy dog, Sasha, to lend attendees some emotional support. 🐶🧠

🏠✂️ Today we celebrated the ribbon-cutting and opening of the East Tumblin Creek and Forest Edge housing communities!

Following the Alachua County Commission's approval to purchase these former motels, the sites have been transformed into permanent housing. This is part of a coordinated response to homelessness and housing affordability, reflecting a growing nationwide best practice. Prospective tenants will be connected to these 67 housing units through the TaskForce Coordinated Entry process.

With amenities like a community center, computer lab for career training, library resources, and on-site case management, these communities create real pathways to stability.
