KBSMA Golfers out on the links ⛳️

Third times a charm!

After some delays from Mother Nature and despite an overcast day with cold and wind, we finally managed to get out and tee off at Lincoln Trail Golf Club for a great cause.

All the money raised support our mission to help youth scholarships for military connected families across Central Kentucky.

ATTENTION KBSMA Golfers,

We are aware of the weather conditions currently in Vine Grove but we are still planning registration to begin and welcome teams. We have pushed back our tee time back to 10 a.m. as the weather patterns the rain ending at 9:30 am.

However, we are assessing the situation and prepared to reschedule but we are hoping Mother Nature gives us a chance to play!

Congratulations to our KBSMA Vice President Mr. Chuck Waters on his second retirement! 🎉👏🏾👏🏻👏🏼👏🏼

Years ago, many knew him as CSM Waters, the Fort Knox Garrison Command Sergeant Major. After hanging up the uniform, he continued his service to the Fort Knox community, working in DPW and eventually serving as the Deputy Housing Chief.

That says a lot about a person. Retiring from the Army but continuing to serve Soldiers, Families, and the Fort Knox community in another capacity.

Chuck, thank you for the many years of leadership, service, mentorship, and commitment you have given both in and out of uniform. Your impact on Fort Knox extends far beyond any one position or title.

Now, after Retirement #2, maybe you can actually retire this time! 😂

Wishing you nothing but happiness, good health, relaxation, and plenty of great adventures in this next chapter.

It was great to see so many Retirees last Friday during Retiree Appreciation Day!

Wonderful event!

FORT KNOX, Ky. -- Hundreds descended on Sadowski Center Aug. 21 to celebrate the annual Retiree Appreciation Day. Some retirees collected swag and information while others sat down for dental exams and immunizations. Prizes were offered throughout the four-hour event that ran from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
