Very sorry to announce the passing of Brigadier General Matt Matia. He was the first Commander of the 11th Aviation Command, commanded the 244th Aviation Brigade and 5-159th Aviation Regiment. Matt had such a positive impact on so many of our Army Reserve Soldiers over the years not only while serving but also after his retirement. Rest in Peace Matt.
