We are an amateur ice hockey team dedicated to serving disabled US Military Veterans on and off ice. Individual donors are few and far
in between.

The Capital Beltway Warriors (CBW) is a Virginia based non-profit
ice hockey club. They provide veterans who proudly served or were
wounded in defense of the United States an adaptive sports experience. Adaptive sports are sports that have been modified or established
expressly for people with disabilities. It is an unfortunate reality that the
sustainment of long-term injuries is a common occupational hazard in
the military. These injuries, both mental and physical, can have moderate
to severe impacts on the lives of disabled veterans. Adaptive sports
teams have been proven to improve the quality of life for disabled
veterans suffering the lingering side effects of their injuries. The CBW
aims to operate as charitable and educational organization to achieve
just that. Founded in 2017, the CBW faces the challenges all young non-profits
organizations must surmount to succeed in their mission. Funding is
scarce, the CBW currently relies largely on large grants from generous
sponsors such as USA Hockey, the Fisher House Foundation, and the
Congressional Hockey Challenge. Their following is small with low engagements, though it
possesses great potential to grow. Internally, there is a lag in moral and
team event attendance. This report aims to find the solution to these
issues through the following integrated marketing campaign.
