FORT BELVOIR, YOU SHOWED UP AND SHOWED OUT!

WOW. Just WOW. 🤯

We are exhausted, our feet hurt, and we’re still trying to process what just happened! OVER 500 PEOPLE came out for our Fall Festival tonight, and we are absolutely blown away!

We had so many families join us that we actually RAN OUT OF PRIZES AND CANDY! We knew we were planning something fun, but we never could have imagined a turnout like this!

🚒 A huge thank you to our Fire Department for coming out and joining the fun!

🥤 Thirst Trap, Crumb + Coffee Cottage, and Mimi’s Butterfly Bakery- thank you for bringing some amazing treats to our evening!

🌮 Aaron Trevino- THANK YOU for generously providing FREE tacos to our families!

🚗 To our incredible Trunk-or-Treat participants, you absolutely knocked it out of the park! The creativity was unreal, and our trunk decorating and costume contests did NOT disappoint!

And to every single volunteer who helped set up, run games, hand out treats, keep things moving, and clean up afterward, WE COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT YOU!

Most importantly, thank you to every family who came out. Seeing hundreds of our Dolphins and their families laughing, playing, and making memories together is exactly why we do what we do.

Was it a little chaotic? ABSOLUTELY. 😂 Was it worth every exhausted minute? A THOUSAND TIMES YES!

We’re already thinking about how much MORE candy and how many MORE prizes we’re going to need next time! 🤣

Thank you, Fort Belvoir, for making tonight something we’ll never forget! 🐬🧡

Our Fort Belvoir PTA Fall Festival is finally here, and we can't wait to celebrate with our Dolphin families! This event is open to all in our Belvoir community. 🐬🧡

🐬 A Quick Note About Popcorn Friday! 🍿

We wanted to give our Dolphin families a little update following Friday’s popcorn deliveries!

Our PTA volunteers pop, bag, sort, and deliver fresh popcorn to classrooms on Popcorn Fridays. Because our popcorn is freshly prepared and packaged in paper bags, it’s meant to be enjoyed that same day!

We’ve learned that some of Friday’s popcorn wasn’t distributed until today. We apologize to any families whose students received popcorn that wasn’t as fresh as intended.

We’re working with the schools to help ensure future deliveries make it into students’ hands on Popcorn Friday.

Thank you for continuing to support this program and the volunteers who make it possible!

Our Fall Festival is THIS Wednesday, October 21, from 5–7 p.m., out front at Belvoir Primary! Join us for games, trunk-or-treat, face painting, and family fun. Local vendors will have food, drinks, and sweet treats available for purchase! 🌮🥤🧁

🍬 Feed the candy monsters! We’re still collecting bags of individually wrapped, nut-free candy at both schools for trunk-or-treat.
