Get registered for the chariity shoot. Gresco Utility Supply Inc. has truly made a difference in our community. We would not have been able to do many of the things we have done like purchase a van & give out scholarships if it weren’t for this amazing company.

Maya brings a sweet and caring presence to Rob’s Place, and we’re so glad to have her as part of our team. She enjoys spending time with our clients, helping them be involved in the group, and lending a hand wherever she can throughout the week.

What’s your favorite season?

- Spring, I love the weather during springtime it’s not too hot and not too cold!

What’s your go-to drink or snack?

- Wavy BBQ Lays Chips!

What’s your favorite hobby or something you enjoy doing outside of work?

- I love to ride horses and I also love to read!

What’s a fun fact about you?

- After college I want to become a doctor specifically in anesthesia!

What’s your favorite thing about working at Rob’s Place?

- My favorite thing about working at Rob’s place is to be able to help out all of the Rob’s Place students including my sister. I love that my work includes taking care of my sister which I have been doing most of my life. It makes the job even better!

☀️ Meet the People Behind the Sunshine! ☀️

Next in our Staff Spotlight we have our Owner & Founder, Ellen Criswell!

Ellen is truly the heart of our organization, and none of us would be here without her caring heart, compassion, and unwavering dedication to helping others. While Ellen is no longer our Director, she still spends each week at Rob’s Place working alongside our friends and doing what she has always done; showing up, lending a helping hand, and finding ways to make their lives a little brighter.

We are so incredibly grateful for her guidance, experience, and, most importantly, her love for the people we serve. So much of what makes Rob’s Place special started with Ellen, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without her.

• What’s your favorite season? 🍂
- Autumn…I love everything about it! I enjoy the cool air, colors, & the coziness it brings. 🍁 I love to open the windows & burn a fall candle. I also collect the glass blown type pumpkins. 🎃

• What’s your go-to drink or snack?
- water or tea & my current fav snack is trail mix or peanut butter crackers

• What’s your favorite hobby or something you enjoy doing outside of work?
- decorating and crafts
- My first grand baby will be arriving soon & I have a feeling she will be filling a lot my off time, & I can’t wait! 💝

• What’s a fun fact about you?
- I wanted to be a sped teacher when I was younger, but my family told me I should be a nurse instead, & I worked as a nurse for a little while, but isn’t it interesting that I ended up doing what I wanted to do in one first place. 😍 Don’t ever let anyone squash your dreams just because of their own experiences.

• What’s your favorite thing about working at Rob’s Place?
- The people of course! Running a business like this is difficult, but even on the hardest days our RP friends bring me joy. I also love the people I get to work with. We are all our own little family, & I would not want to be doing anything else.

What's your favorite season?
-My favorite season is fall because of the cooler weather, leaves changing and football! Go Dawgs!

What's your go-to drink or snack?
-My favorite snack is Dr Pepper or Sweet Tea and Reeses.

What's your favorite hobby or something you enjoy outside of work?
-Outside of work I love spending time with my daughter, Addison and I really enjoy taking my sister, Kym, to horse therapy at Brave Meadows.

What's a fun fact about you?
- I have a daughter who is starting college at my old alma mater GCSU.

What's your favorite thing about working at Rob's Place?
-The best part is getting to see all the smiling faces and the hugs! I love that I get to help achieve their goals, be someone they can talk to and advocate for them.

First up in our Staff Spotlight Series we have Emilee Criswell! Emilee has been working at Rob’s Place since we opened in 2020, starting full time after she graduated in 2022. We are so incredibly thankful for Emilee and all she does to help keep our program & office running smoothly, we truly couldn’t be where we are today without her!

- fall! i’ll take any excuse to wear an oversized sweatshirt 😗

- you can always catch me with a coke

What’s your favorite hobby or something you enjoy doing outside of work?
- i love going to concerts!🤩 i also really enjoy going to the movies or even a braves game!

What’s a fun fact about you?
- i danced for 15 years, from the time i was 3 until i was 18, and it was genuinely my favorite thing in the world! 🩰🤍

What’s your favorite thing about working at rob’s place?
- the relationships i’ve built with our peeps, and getting to be part of them trying new things while making fun memories together🫶🏻
