It’s that time of year again and with less than one month to go the Griffin XC is proud to present to you PNP 3.0!!! There are still a few tables left as well as some single tickets left for purchase, you don’t want to miss The Main Event Band bringing the energy while you sip cocktails and eat oysters, then Ryan Rodgers brings you the best pig pickin’ in the south! All proceeds benefit our community, striving to make Griffin/Spalding a better place to live, work and play!

XC was excited to have Georgia District President Jeff Wells come to install our board of directors and officers for 26-27. Jeff also presented past president Todd Feltman with his presidents plaque and awarded Curtis Hardwick with National Exchange Club’s Treasurer of the Year Award! Griffin XC President Raak Patel also installed new member Josh Hoffman, amazing things are happening in this club that will help benefit our community while keeping the vision of this club strong for over 102 years of serving Griffin-Spalding! The Main Event Band is taking the stage as the headliner at this year’s 3rd Annual Pig ‘n Pearl — and you won’t want to miss it!

Hosted by the Griffin Exchange Club, this incredible event is set for September 19 at the beautiful Bailey-Tebault House.

Come out for a night of great music, amazing food, and unforgettable fun — all for a great cause. The Main Event Band will be bringing the energy and keeping the party going all night long! 🎤🎸

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT!!!

Patrick M. Shepherd currently serves as judge in the State Court of Spalding County, having been appointed by Governor Brian Kemp on February 3, 2026. Prior to his appointment to the bench, Patrick served as the Solicitor General of Spalding County from his election in 2018 until 2026. Prior to his election as Solicitor General in 2018, Patrick was a partner in the firm of Shepherd Law Offices, LLC, where he practiced with his father, Timothy N. Shepherd. Patrick also served as Assistant Solicitor in Spalding County from 2016 through 2018.
Patrick graduated from Griffin High School in 2001 and then earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Georgia in 2005. Patrick earned his Juris Doctor from the Mercer University School of Law in 2009 and became a member of the State Bar of Georgia later that year.
Patrick is a life-long resident of Spalding County and is active in his community, serving, or having served, on various boards including the Griffin-Spalding Sports Hall of Fame, the Griffin-Spalding County Bar Association, the Griffin Exchange Club, and the First Baptist Church Mission Council. Shepherd also leads the First Baptist Church Community Garden.
Patrick and his wife, Robin, have two daughters and live in Griffin.

55 Years!!! Since the creation of the GOAL Program within technical colleges, The Griffin Exchange Club has sponsored the event with Southern Crescent Technical College, supporting the students who have gone above and beyond as well as overcoming certain circumstances while furthering their education. Last week we were honored to recognize these individuals as well as award this year’s GOAL Program winner! Congratulations to each and every student nominated as well as our winner, Lakesha Dorsey!!!
