Our Mission is to be a bridge between artists and the community by supporting and encouraging artists at every stage through exhibitions, gallery sales, special events and classes.

Members Only Night is this Friday, Nov. 6. Valley Art will provide refreshments, live music, w**e, and, for members, a 10% discount on everything they buy. The discount continues throughout the event - Nov. 7 - 15.
It's time for you to support our community's artists and provide continuing art education for the youngest to the oldest. $25 a year helps our nonprofit pay the electric and water bills, and plan for building maintenance.

Nov. 2 and we are four days away from Member's Night at Valley Art Gallery. (Nov. 6, 6-8 p.m., refreshments, live music, and w**e.)
Hopefully you will soon receive your tickets in the mail. 🥰 Remember, members may also invite guests, so bring a couple friends with you! (They won't be eligible for the 10% discount, but if they join that night anything they buy is 10% off.)
We are celebrating our Diamond Jubilee this month. Sixty years of offering fine art, art classes, and artistic events for everyone.

Today, Nov. 1, begins the countdown to VAA's Annual Artist Event. There's brand-new art in the gallery and we can't wait for you to see it.
Member's Night is this Friday, Nov. 6, from 6-8 p.m. Appetizers, live entertainment, and w**e will be provided — with drawings for gift certificates during our event. If you are a member, you will receive an event trifold and your ticket in the mail (along with a ticket for a guest/s).
AAE runs Nov. 7-15, and our nonprofit 501 (C) (3) gallery will once again offer members a 10% discount throughout the event on everything you purchase. If you are not a member now, become one on Member's Night or renew your membership. Only $25 a year. This gets you benefits throughout the year, including our newsletter, early AAE entry, and reduced rates on art classes in the gallery. Join with us and support art for the future.

Bob Hackney will be back in our booth this Wednesday, in the penultimate week of this year's farmer's market in Forest Grove. Come say hi!

About Bob:
Bob Hackney is a long-time potter and has been both an artist and an instructor at Valley Art for many years. He’s been the pottery studio manager since 2017. His work primarily focuses on vases, vessels, and mugs. Hackney explores several methods of glazing and firing, including: raku, soda ash, wood fired, horse hair, and the electric kiln.

This week, Zoe Stanek will be the artist in our booth!

About the artist:
"Zoe is a writer and artist who takes inspiration from landscapes and everyday magic. She writes whimsical fairy tales about women and girls: slice of life stories of worlds just beyond our own. Her art follows suit, depicting playful scenes and teeming with wonder. Zoe’s dream is to become an author of children’s books and novels that might someday be part of everyone’s libraries.

She has several years of editing and layout experience as well, having worked on several publications in Adobe InDesign.

She graduated from Pacific University in 2022 as a Creative Writing major with a double minor in Editing & Publishing and Fine Arts."
