We were a week behind on our Rotary Club day of service. Today we tackled freshening up the northern entrance trimming, raking, and washing the sign. Back in 1999 several of our club members started this project. At that time it was just a giant mound of construction debris and dirt left over from the construction of the Highway 47 by-pass. We brought in all of the trees and plants, Built the sign shown in this photo and poured a cement sidewalk around the project.

We had a fun morning today. With $1,000 from our foundation and a matching grant from Rotary District 5100 we went shopping for non-perishable food items and personal care items for Community Action to help restock their supplies. After shopping at Costco and WinCo we had lunch at Giovani's before we delivered our purchases. More photos to follow.
