The Dauntless Veteran Foundation is proud to announce that the 2026 Agriculture Grant is now open to Veterans, and their dependents, who are - or are aspiring to be - farmers!

The grant is currently open until April 6th. To help prospective applicants better understand the process, we will host a live FAQ webinar session on March 17. This will be an opportunity to review eligibility, walk through the application, and answer questions directly.

The Agriculture Grant Program is designed to fulfill a financial gap for Veterans and their dependents after all other means have been exhausted. Since 2022, the Dauntless Veteran Foundation has raised over $220,000 in support of Farmer-Veterans.

Up to $30,000 will be awarded and distributed among the most qualified candidates in this current cycle.

Applicants in need of small grants for expensable items are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements, gather the required documents, and complete the application.

Save the date! Our Agriculture Grant will open for applications on March 9 and close on April 6!

This grant exists to bridge financial gaps for veterans and their dependents pursuing careers and livelihoods in agriculture. Whether that means starting a farm, expanding an operation, purchasing essential equipment, or investing in education and infrastructure.

To help prospective applicants better understand the process, we will host a live FAQ webinar session on March 17. This will be an opportunity to review eligibility, walk through the application, and answer questions directly. A RSVP for the webinar will be included with the Ag grant launch email.

Five years of impact made possible by you!

Navy veteran Jake M. is restoring 80 acres of forested land in Washington State while building a regenerative farm focused on community, education, and environmental healing. Thanks to the Dauntless Veteran Foundation Agriculture Grant Program, he completed a critical fencing project that protects the land and enables livestock to join the farm.

We are feeling grateful for ! They were able to raise $5,000 for farmer veterans in our community. We appreciate everyone who came out to enjoy craft culture and support local agriculture, and a special thank you to the vendors who generously contributed to the barrel raffle fundraiser!

From the barn to the armed forces and back again. After 24 years in the Army Reserve, one veteran is growing something powerful at Little Ohana Farm: a future rooted in sustainable farming, ethical animal care, and nourishing food for the local community.

From Army Captain to olive grower — meet Jeff and Donna McCowen of The Finnyard in Buxton, Oregon. Thanks in part to a grant from Dauntless Veteran Foundation, their six-acre hillside is now home to Finnsheep, fruit trees, and (soon) 24 olive trees.

Mark B., a 16-year Army veteran and the owner of Meadowdale Farm, is turning pasture into purpose. With help from the Dauntless Veteran Foundation Agriculture Grant, he’s built an on-farm poultry processing facility that’s changing the game for his veteran-owned, regenerative farm.

We may be based in Oregon—but our support stretches far beyond. We're proud to stand with veteran farmers across the country who are nourishing their communities and finding healing through agriculture.
