The Dauntless Veteran Foundation is proud to announce that the 2026 Agriculture Grant is now open to Veterans, and their dependents, who are - or are aspiring to be - farmers!

The grant is currently open until April 6th. To help prospective applicants better understand the process, we will host a live FAQ webinar session on March 17. This will be an opportunity to review eligibility, walk through the application, and answer questions directly.

The Agriculture Grant Program is designed to fulfill a financial gap for Veterans and their dependents after all other means have been exhausted. Since 2022, the Dauntless Veteran Foundation has raised over $220,000 in support of Farmer-Veterans.

Up to $30,000 will be awarded and distributed among the most qualified candidates in this current cycle.

Applicants in need of small grants for expensable items are also encouraged to apply. Applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements, gather the required documents, and complete the application.

Download the grant application and RSVP for the webinar here:

Save the date! Our Agriculture Grant will open for applications on March 9 and close on April 6!

This grant exists to bridge financial gaps for veterans and their dependents pursuing careers and livelihoods in agriculture. Whether that means starting a farm, expanding an operation, purchasing essential equipment, or investing in education and infrastructure.

To help prospective applicants better understand the process, we will host a live FAQ webinar session on March 17. This will be an opportunity to review eligibility, walk through the application, and answer questions directly. A RSVP for the webinar will be included with the Ag grant launch email.

If you are a veteran, or know a veteran or dependent, who could benefit from this support, we encourage you to apply or help spread the word.

Ag-Grant Important Dates:
➡ Opens: March 9
➡ FAQ Webinar: March 17
➡ Closes: April 6

Five years of impact made possible by you!

As we close out 2025, we’re grateful for five years of supporting veterans in agriculture. Together, we’ve helped steward more than 2,000 acres of farmland and supported veteran families as they build sustainable livelihoods.

There’s more work ahead. With your year-end, tax-deductible gift, you help expand access to capital, training, and resources for farmer-veterans strengthening our local food systems.

Help us grow into year six and donate before December 31: https://dauntlessvf.org/donate

Thank you for standing with us and helping this mission grow!

Navy veteran Jake M. is restoring 80 acres of forested land in Washington State while building a regenerative farm focused on community, education, and environmental healing. Thanks to the Dauntless Veteran Foundation Agriculture Grant Program, he completed a critical fencing project that protects the land and enables livestock to join the farm.

From the barn to the armed forces and back again. After 24 years in the Army Reserve, one veteran is growing something powerful at Little Ohana Farm: a future rooted in sustainable farming, ethical animal care, and nourishing food for the local community.

Thanks to a grant from the Dauntless Veteran Foundation, the farm is expanding with a new chicken coop, flock, and business tools to thrive.

Read their inspiring journey and see how purpose, service, and soil come together at Little Ohana Farm.

Nestled in the quiet fields of the Winthrop Lakes region, Little Ohana Farm is more than a working farm, it’s a living expression of purpose, family, and resilience. For Felicia, a 24-year Army Reserve veteran and lifelong animal care specialist, the land is both a calling and a continuation. From...

Mark B., a 16-year Army veteran and the owner of Meadowdale Farm, is turning pasture into purpose. With help from the Dauntless Veteran Foundation Agriculture Grant, he’s built an on-farm poultry processing facility that’s changing the game for his veteran-owned, regenerative farm.

We may be based in Oregon—but our support stretches far beyond. We're proud to stand with veteran farmers across the country who are nourishing their communities and finding healing through agriculture.

We are already halfway to our goal to raise an additional $10,000 by the end of April! 100% of the funds raised will go directly into the hands of a Farmer-Veteran. Your contribution, big or small, will help us achieve this goal and support our local farmers!

Thank you to those who have donated to our cause, shared our endeavor, and liked our cause! We're almost there!
