🇺🇸♠️ I JOINED FOR THE BROTHERHOOD. I NEVER EXPECTED TO FIND SOMETHING I DIDN’T REALIZE I WAS MISSING. ❤️

When I joined the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association®, I thought I was simply joining a group of veterans who shared my love for motorcycles.

What I found was so much more.

I found friendship. I found understanding. I found a place where I belonged.

Coming home from war doesn’t always mean leaving the war behind. Living with PTSD can be incredibly isolating. Sometimes you feel alone even in a room full of people. Sometimes it’s easier to stay silent than explain what’s going on inside your head.

But something changes when you’re surrounded by people who understand without needing an explanation.

Through the CVMA®, I’ve found laughter, friendship, and connections I thought I’d lost a long time ago.

For the first time in a long time, I feel a little less alone.

🏍️ It’s more than just a ride.

It’s having people who understand your silence, check in when you’re struggling, and remind you that you still belong.

PTSD doesn’t disappear because you find good people. But having good people beside you can make those difficult days a little easier.

To my brothers and sisters in the CVMA®, thank you for giving me something I never expected to find again.

And to the veteran out there feeling alone: I hope you find your people, too. Sometimes finding where you belong can make all the difference. ❤️

❤️ 22 A DAY — POKER RUN 2027 🏍️

Every veteran has a story. Some are filled with laughter, friendship, and memories of service. Others carry battles that the rest of the world may never see.

And sadly, some stories end far too soon.

Our mission is to make sure those we’ve lost are never forgotten, and those still fighting know they are never alone.

Next year, CVMA® MA 2-3 will be hosting our 22 A DAY Poker Run, bringing together veterans, families, motorcycle riders, and our community for something much bigger than a day on two wheels.

This event is about remembrance, awareness, brotherhood, and continuing our mission of Veterans Helping Veterans.

💜 MORE THAN JUST A MOTORCYCLE RIDE

We’re working to make this a meaningful day for everyone who attends. Along with the poker run, we’re exploring special moments of remembrance, opportunities to honor veterans we’ve lost, and ways for families to recognize their loved ones.

We want this to be a day where stories are shared, memories are honored, friendships are made, and people leave knowing they were part of something that truly mattered.

Some people ride to the grocery store. Some ride across the country. And some of you apparently believe a motorcycle seat is a perfectly acceptable substitute for a living room recliner. 😂

🔥 WHAT’S THE LONGEST DISTANCE YOU’VE EVER RIDDEN IN A SINGLE DAY? 🔥

We’re talking ONE DAY. Not your entire vacation, not the mileage since your last oil change, and definitely not the distance your buddy claims he rode after three beers. 🤣

♠️ WELL, LOOK WHO GOT VIP PARKING ♠️

Stopped at Home Depot and apparently they heard I was the new PRO for CVMA® MA 2-3!

Finally, some recognition for my extremely important duties of making Facebook posts, taking pictures, and professionally annoying my chapter members!

All jokes aside, I’m genuinely happy and proud to be our chapter’s Public Relations Officer. We’ve got a great group of people, a mission worth fighting for, and plenty of opportunities ahead of us.

I can’t wait to see what our chapter can accomplish together! ❤️♠️💛

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have to go explain to Home Depot why my PRO parking spot doesn’t come with a military discount on lumber.

We’ve all heard the saying Veterans Helping Veterans, but sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impact.

Sometimes it’s a fundraiser. Sometimes it’s showing up when someone needs a hand. And sometimes it’s just sitting beside a fellow veteran when the world gets a little heavy.
