Yesterday, , we earned just over $9,200 towards our year end giving goal. While that’s impressive, we still have $26k to go to close out 2024 in a fiscally strong position. We’d like to share the words of one of our donors so you can hear why others give:

“I decided to donate because I feel like Empty Arms is an amazing community. I have been to support groups through Empty Arms but also received support on difficult days. I have received a Mother’s Day card, my husband received a Father’s Day card, and I also received a card when the one year anniversary of losing my son came around...I think it is so important to have a community and a place for people to go... It’s ! Today alone, your generosity fuels nearly 25% of our work. Baby Luna’s story is a testament to the power of this organization.🌙

“I never thought that I would be leaving the hospital without my daughter. Empty Arms helped create a path to moving forward.”

When Luna passed away, Empty Arms created hand and foot castings, brought in a photographer to capture Luna’s beauty, guided Josh and Rosy through the funeral and burial, and connected them with our supportive community of parents.

“We are part of the worst club in the world, but the great people within it made it easier to keep going, even when that next breath felt impossible to take.”💞

“Henry’s death wasn’t something that my husband or I could fully comprehend ourselves, let alone explain to our daughters who were 3 and 6 at the time…As hard as those early days are, our children are there to remind us that we do have a reason to get out of bed every morning, and that is a priceless part of our grief journeys.”

This is Angela, Henry’s mom, who hosts our Parenting After Loss Support Group. It’s a space for people who have older children at the time of their baby’s death to process how difficult it can be to multi-task grief and parenting at the same time.

What an incredible Fall Fest we had this year at Mike’s Maze!🌻🍂 We had SO much fun connecting with you all and making memories together.

We reflect on this past month (Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness month) with hearts full of love and appreciation for this Empty Arms community. Thank you for gathering with us in remembrance of our babies.🧡

At least 25% of stillbirths occurring in the United States are preventable. That’s 5,250 babies’ that could be saved! This is why we need to pass the SHINE for Autumn Act, H.R. 5012/S. 2647 which would take critical steps to invest in improved stillbirth data collection, research, education, and awareness all of which are required to better understand stillbirth and identify strategies for prevention! SHINE would ensure more families return home from the hospital with their babies, safe in their arms!
