We have been embracing the warm fall weather! We help take care of the environment by tending to our Rotary garden, which includes getting it ready for the winter ahead. Many thanks to our members who went out earlier this month to clean up garden beds. Working as a team is one of the things Rotarians do best!

Happy Wednesday Rotarians! Coco the Cow joined our Rotary today to learn about how to reduce plastic waste and take care of our environment. We are sure that it comes as no surprise how passionate Coco is about going green! 🍃🍀
Thank you to fellow Rotarian Ashoka, and her guest Rohan, for a captivating presentation.

Cocoa the Cow got to learn about the ins and outs of FISH of Grand Blanc with Barb Smith today! FISH is a food bank in Grand Blanc that serves residents of the Grand Blanc School District through a variety of programs.
They are currently collecting pop cans to pay for a new roof for their facility; one dime at a time!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone that joined us for our annual Rotary golf outing last week! We are beyond words. Your contribution to our golf outing helps us provide grants to organizations and scholarships to students in Genesee County that need them most. Until next year! ⛳

Having a great time at the annual Rotary Club of Greater Flint Sunrise Golf outing!

❗️NEW MEMBER ALERT❗️....and we think you will find our new Rotary member very a-moo-sing. 🐮Meet Cocoa the Cow!
This year, Rotary clubs in our district were each given a new friend to share Rotary moments with throughout the 2026-27 year. Cocoa joined us during our golf outing prep meeting, and didn't hesitate to help put together goodie bags for our golfers! She is already showing great Rotary spirit.
Follow along with us this year to see how Cocoa helps us serve Genesee County!

On Wednesday, 7/08/26, we had the honor of touring Mark Schwartz Violins!
Mark is a Greater Flint Sunrise Rotary member, and recently had a documentary released about the work done at his shop. We learned about his path to the craft, the shop's history, and how they continue to grow. Fun fact: Mark has a violin that is over TWO HUNDRED years old!

Thank you, Mark, for taking the time to teach us the ins and outs of violins, their parts, and repairs. Your skill set and artistry is unmatched!
