As part of the annual Law Day commemoration, the Genesee County Bar Association organized mock trials for students at four high schools interested in legal careers.

Each year on May 1st bar associations all across the country celebrate Law Day. This day is set aside to educate the community about the rule of law and its role in preserving our freedoms. This year, the Law Day theme is “The Rule of Law and the American Dream."

🎓 Beagle Scholarship Applications Now Open 🎓

The Genesee County Bar Foundation is now accepting applications for the Beagle Scholarship, established to support Genesee County students in their second or third year of law school.

✔️ Award: Minimum of $5,000
✔️ Eligibility: Law students from Genesee County, MI
✔️ Deadline: May 1, 2026

This scholarship honors the late John S. Beagle and his lifelong commitment to justice and removing financial barriers for future attorneys.
