The 2026-2027 FLP Board of Directors is excited to offer you an opportunity to help raise money for FLP and upgrade your closet!

We have worked with Minuteman Press (Flagstaff local and FLP Alum!) to set up a T-shirt fundraiser for FLP. Use the link below to order your T-shirt or T-shirts so that you can not only support the program but also be visible during alumni and fundraiser events.

This year we are offering short (sage) and long sleeve (steel blue) t-shirts, sizes XS-XL (unisex). The cost for a shirt is $35 with $5 going to FLP.

For three and a half decades, the Flagstaff Leadership Program has brought together people from across our community with one shared purpose: to learn, connect, lead, and make a difference.

Over the years, hundreds of leaders have walked through the program’s doors. They’ve built friendships, developed new perspectives, discovered more about the community they call home, and gone on to make an impact in countless ways.

And now, it’s time to celebrate that legacy. 🎉

We’re excited to announce that the Flagstaff Leadership Program is celebrating its 35th anniversary!

To all of our alumni — from the very first class to our most recent graduates — this celebration is for you.

We’re bringing the FLP family back together to reconnect with old friends, reminisce about the experiences that shaped us, and celebrate 35 years of leadership, service, and community in Flagstaff.

Flagstaff Leadership Program (FLP) is seeking an experienced facilitator to lead team-building activities at our annual FLP Retreat.

We’re looking for someone with strong facilitation skills and familiarity with FLP who can help create an engaging, meaningful experience for our newest class members through icebreakers, team-building exercises, and activities that foster connection and trust.

📅 Date: September 12, 2026
⏰ Time Commitment: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
📍 Location: St. Joseph’s Campground

The FLP Retreat is an important kickoff experience where new class members build relationships, establish group dynamics, and begin their leadership journey. The selected facilitator will lead three structured team-building sessions throughout the day.

As our program year has come to a close, we all get a little break for the summer to rest, recharge, reset, and come back to prepare for the next years class! So things might get a little quiet here for the summer but we’ll pop in with updates and other happenings here and there. Otherwise, Happy Summer friends! Make it a great one 🤩😎☀️

One last official post before we break for summer…

We are so proud to officially welcome the FLP Class of 2026 graduates as alumni! On May 16 at Theatrikos, with mimosas in hand, we celebrated 22 leaders who completed the program. They recapped their class project, which included highlight videos, and presented each other with their graduation plaques.

Thanks to all the family, friends, fellow FLP alumni and board members who joined us in the celebration. We cannot wait to see all the Box Burners accomplish and know they will continue to do us proud.

And finally, the final LED post of the year. Another better late than never post 😅

Flagstaff may be a small mountain community, but it's also home to an incredible concentration of scientific research, innovation, and discovery.

During our recent Science in the Community Leadership Education Day, Flagstaff Leadership Program participants had the opportunity to learn from researchers, educators, environmental leaders, archaeologists, public health experts, and community advocates who are making an impact both locally and globally.

From forest restoration and tribal environmental leadership to astronomy, archaeology, public health, and scientific research in the Grand Canyon, the day offered a powerful reminder of the vital role science plays in shaping our communities and informing the decisions that affect our future.
