Greetings goddesses!

We are thrilled to share that the annual Fayetteville Goddess Festival is returning for 2026. A new volunteer planning circle has come together to revive this beloved tradition and we’re bringing fresh energy and community spirit with us.

Save the date: May 1-2 for a weekend of connection and celebration at beautiful Mount Sequoyah. Together we will gather in the spirit of Beltane, the ancient spring festival that honors renewal, creativity, and the beginning of summer. More details to come!

In the meantime, keep an eye out for updates about a special spring pop-up event where we’ll get together in celebration of the season of fresh starts 🌷

And if you haven’t already, make sure you’re following us over on Instagram so you don’t miss any updates!

Sorry to be late posting the meeting tonight. Was out of town for too long. But tonight is the first Communion after Samhain and it's time to delve into some deep magic of this new and unsettling time.

This will be a loosely structured discussion that based on input read from tarot. Please join us to see what emerges and add your own insight

Those who love the divine feminine, if you can, please join this group of Quakers in prayers for the Glasgow Climate Summit. World leaders must step up in the real interests of planet and life for the healing of the Great Mother.

COP26 is meeting in Glasgow Scotland from Oct 31 to Nov 11. To support them at the deepest level, Fayetteville Friends Meeting invites you to pause in your day and hold them in prayer as you begin or end your day. We invite Friends to join us for worship at Sunrise and/or Sunset, 7:45-8:00am or 6:30-6:45pm. each day that they will meet.

For Wednesday, November 3, we offer this prayer:
Taking Time

Divine source…
thank you for the gift of your creation.
As we journey through life help us to take time to appreciate it,
from each sunrise to sunset;
to celebrate the intricacies of your handiwork,
admire the changing of the seasons,
recognising that this is a gift.
Remind us to care deeply that as our climate is changing,
future generations may not have the same luxury of enjoyment,
as people around the world now, are already suffering from the effects of climate change. May our actions reflect a love for your world and justice for those affected.
Help us to share the same dream of a world free from poverty.
Amen.
Adapted from a prayer written by Christian Aid, included in The Climate Change Prayer Booklet, published by Caritas Aotearoa New Zealand, as part of the Just Water: Climate Change in the Pacific series.
