Fayetteville / Cumberland County CrimeStoppers Community program that seeks to encourage the community to take ownership in public safety efforts. All Calls are kept in complete confidence.

Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crimestoppers is a method for citizens to help solve crimes, turn in wanted criminals anonymously and possibly receive cash rewards. Citizens are asked to call Crimestoppers at 483-TIPS (8477) or toll free 866-542-TIPS (8477) if they have information regarding criminal activity. This number is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is designated for Crimestoppers

information only. If the information you provide leads to an arrest, you can receive a reward, as determined by a citizen board, of as much as $2000. The amount of the reward varies, depending upon factors such as the information given, the nature of the crime committed and the value of any property or narcotics seized. Also, Crimestoppers pays cash rewards for any information that results in the arrest of fugitives from justice or anyone committing a felony or serious misdemeanor.

Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department's Property and Fraud Unit are seeking the public's assistance with identifying several suspects.

On Tuesday April 21, 2026, the pictured individuals entered Best Buy located at 2034 Skibo Rd. The pair worked in concert to break into a locked case in order to retrieve Apple Air Tags and three high-end computer components totaling $1,247.97. The items were concealed on their persons and they left without rendering payment.

Fraud Detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department are looking for Jey’Shan Parker. Mr. Parker currently has a warrant for his arrest for the felony of Obtaining Property by False Pretense.

On May 15, 2026, Jey’Shan Parker entered the Quack Quack Phone Repair business located on Hay Street in Downtown Fayetteville. He went in to have the screen on his iPhone replaced. Once the phone was fixed, the phone was given back to Mr. Parker for inspection, and then Mr. Parker left the business without paying.

The pictured individual stole the victim's wallet from the Taco Bell on Raeford Rd. The pictured individual then used the victim's card from within the wallet at several different locations.

Joseph Sellers (White male, 26 years of age) of Fayetteville North Carolina is wanted for Larceny of Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle.

| Suspect Wanted for Removing Electronic Monitoring Device |

A suspect has cut and removed the GPS ankle monitoring device while out on bond.

On April 28, 2026, at approximately 7:44 p.m., officers with the Fayetteville Police Department responded to the 1500 block of Rim Road in reference to a strap-tamper alert on the GPS ankle monitor that was installed on Genesis Naszer Whitted (Black male, 21 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C.

It was found that Genesis Whitted had cut and removed the GPS ankle monitor that was installed after he posted his secured bond. Whitted was out on bond for Discharging a Weapon into Occupied Property.

Genesis Whitted is described as a black male being approximately 6’03" in height and weighing approximately 170 lbs. His direction and mode of travel are currently unknown. Members of the Fayetteville Police Departments Electronic Monitoring Unit are actively looking for Genesis Whitted at this time.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Genesis Whitted is asked to call 911 immediately or contact Officer J. Rivera at (910)705-5955.
