Crimestoppers Tip Leads to Search Warrant Leads Arrests, Guns, and Narcotics Seizure
On July 20, 2026, the Fayetteville Police Department's Gang Unit, with assistance from the Emergency Response Team (ERT), executed a search warrant in the 2100 block of Grand Prix Drive in Fayetteville, N.C. This investigation was assisted by the Fayetteville Police Department's Narcotics Unit and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).
The ex*****on of the search warrant resulted in the seizure of 1,676.6 grams of co***ne HCL, 29.2 grams of co***ne base, 96.9 grams of ma*****na, 9 grams of fentanyl, 3.8 grams of Phenyl-2-Propanone (P2P), nine fi****ms (one stolen and three meeting the statutory definition of a weapon of mass destruction), and $3,252.
Christopher Hendon (Black male, 20 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested and charged with two counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, three counts of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, three counts of Trafficking in Co***ne, Conspiracy to Traffic in Co***ne, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Felonious Conspiracy. Hendon is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center pursuant to N.C. G.S. 15A-533(h), for committing a new offense while on pretrial release for another pending proceeding.
Eddie Hendon (Black male, 21 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested and charged with four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, three counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, three counts of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, three counts of Trafficking in Co***ne, Conspiracy to Traffic in Co***ne, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Felonious Conspiracy. Hendon is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center pursuant to N.C. G.S. 15A-534(b1), after being charged with a violent offense for which there is a presumption that no condition of release will reasonably assure the safety of the community.
Amonte McDougald (Black male, 26 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested and charged with four counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, three counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, three counts of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, three counts of Trafficking in Co***ne, Conspiracy to Traffic in Co***ne, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Felonious Conspiracy. McDougald is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center pursuant to N.C. G.S. 15A-533(h), for committing a new offense while on pretrial release for another pending proceeding.
Daria Tucker (Black female, 22 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested and charged with three counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Ma*****na, three counts of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, three counts of Trafficking in Co***ne, Conspiracy to Traffic in Co***ne, Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping and Selling a Controlled Substance, and Felonious Conspiracy. Tucker is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center pursuant to N.C. G.S. 15A-533(h), for committing a new offense while on pretrial release for another pending proceeding.
Devante Divelbess (Black male, 25 years of age) of Fayetteville, N.C., was arrested and charged with three counts of Trafficking Fentanyl, three counts of Possession of a Weapon of Mass Destruction, Possession of a Stolen Firearm, three counts of Trafficking in Co***ne, Conspiracy to Traffic in Co***ne, and Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell, and Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance. Divelbess is currently being held without bond at the Cumberland County Detention Center pursuant to N.C. G.S. 15A-534(b1), after being charged with a violent offense for which there is a presumption that no condition of release will reasonably assure the safety of the community.
