September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Sadly, each day, 43 families in the United States will hear the words “your child has cancer.”

The Care Project aims to help WNY families with children in long term car who have heard those exact words. We aim to ease the financial stress that families encounter so they can focus their attention on spending more time withtheir child their medical care.

Over the past several months, with support from our wonderful Western New York community, The Care Project has disbursed several thousands of dollars in gas and grocery cards to local families in need.
