Meet Our Runners | Heidi Greenwood
Heidi Greenwood grew up in Roseau, Minnesota and attended the University of North Dakota, where she competed in volleyball and track. She is a 2008 Division II National Champion in the 1500m and later qualified for the 2016 U.S. Olympic Marathon Trials. She now lives in West Fargo, North Dakota, where she owns and operates her own personal training business. Heidi is passionate about wellness, sourdough baking, and staying organized in both life and training.
Heidi and her husband have experienced the loss of their first two baby girls, Jules (22 weeks) and Leni (28 weeks). They are now raising their daughters, Quincy Jules and Jude Leni.
She is participating in this event to help raise awareness, support families experiencing loss, and create a safe space where children’s names are spoken, grief is honored, and hope can be rebuilt.
