FirstLink is grateful to be part of the Recovery Road Walk! Stop by our booth and say hello. Thank you, Prairie St. John’s, for bringing our community together in support, remembrance, and hope. 💙

Join us as we come together to honor the lives impacted by addiction and mental health challenges and to remember those we have lost. We invite you to walk alongside us at the Recovery Road Walk at St. Genevieve's Place on August 22 at 9:00 a.m.

We can support those in recovery, celebrate resilience and remind our community that no one has to face these struggles alone. We hope to see you there.

Boozhoo!

A few members of the FirstLink team had the opportunity to attend the Tribal History and Cultural Safety Gathering in Welch, Minnesota.

We are grateful for the opportunity to listen, learn, and deepen our understanding of sacred medicines, art, values, Grandfather and Grandmother Teachings, Tribal history, cultural safety, the boarding school era, and the strengths and protective factors within Native communities.

Experiences like this help us continue learning how to provide services that are respectful, culturally responsive, and grounded in understanding the communities we serve.

Miigwech to those who shared their knowledge, stories, traditions, and teachings with us. We are grateful to have been welcomed into this learning space. 💙
