Engineers Without Borders (EWB) is a non-profit service based organization that partners with communities in developing countries. Each chapter works with the community to design and implement infrastructure projects with their respective community. EWB is a national organization with both professional and student chapters working on projects in over 45 different countries. Our chapter is currently partnered with the small community of Las Tablitas, Guatemala. We have two main objectives as a chapter:
1.To develop and raise awareness of sustainable technology in disadvantaged communities by hosting speakers, participating in research and sponsoring workshops.
2.To undertake projects and work to develop and implement a solution through partnerships.
