Look how much these sweet girls have grown! 🐾✨
​From tiny, palm-sized kittens back on April 13, 2025, to these gorgeous, confident adults captured on July 23, 2026, when their mom took them for their annual checkup with Dr. Katherine at Spotsylvania Animal Hospital!

​They used to be known as Snap & Crackle, but now these beautiful ladies go by Cayenne & Angel. We just love watching them blossom into such stunning cats! 😻💕 We are so thrilled to be able to share their update with you!

🚨 NEW ARRIVAL ALERT! 🚨
​Everyone, please welcome our newest—and tiniest—little resident! Weighing in at a whopping half a pound, this sweet orphaned orange baby is settling into their cozy setup. 🧡
​We aren't the only ones completely smitten, though. Big brother Flipper couldn't resist dropping by to inspect the new arrival and give them a warm welcome! (We think he's already taking his "big brother" duties very seriously. 🥹)

​It has been a long while since we posted an update on one of our long-time senior sanctuary residents, so it is the perfect time to reintroduce a very special lady!
​Meet Tamzin! 💕
​Tamzin is our wonderful 12-year-old polydactyl girl. She is truly the sweetest, most gentle soul and keeps so quiet around the sanctuary. Tamzin has never asked for much out of life—just a little bit of love and affection.

​Everyone, please give a royal welcome to another new member of our rescue family: Princess! 🐾💖
​As you can see, she is an absolutely precious, tiny 14-year-old poodle with the sweetest face you'll ever see. 🐩✨
​Princess came into our care after her previous owner faced a sudden change of circumstances completely beyond their control. It’s never easy for a senior pup to transition to a new environment, but Princess is handling it like the royalty she is. Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Cuddles! 🥰 She is already stealing hearts left and right with her gentle, affectionate soul.
​We are so honored to look after this sweet girl and ensure her golden years are filled with comfort, safety, and endless love.

Meet Zelda! 🐾✨
​Look at this sweet, resilient face! At just 9 weeks old, little Zelda has already proven herself to be an absolute fighter.
​Zelda was transferred into our rescue from a local shelter partner. When she first arrived, she was incredibly sick. She had just been seen by an emergency veterinarian for a severe upper respiratory infection that left her barely able to breathe. Even the simplest things, like eating and drinking, were a massive struggle because they would trigger uncontrollable coughing fits. It was heartbreaking to watch such a tiny kitten fight so hard just to catch her breath.
​But what a difference a few weeks, the right antibiotics, and a whole lot of TLC can make! It has been quite the journey for our little Zelda, but we are overjoyed to report that she is now thriving, breathing easy, and showing off her adorable personality.
​We are so incredibly proud of her recovery and grateful to everyone who supports our rescue so we can give kittens like Zelda the second chance they truly deserve.

We have recently welcomed a few new additions to our little rescue family over the past few weeks. We will be introducing them all to you in the near future. First up is Minnie:

🐾 Meet Minnie! 🐾
​Look at those big, beautiful eyes! 😍 Say hello to Minnie, a tiny, 4-pound spunky Chihuahua who is capturing all of our hearts.
​Minnie recently came into our care when her previous owner realized they needed help providing the level of care she required. Surrendering a beloved pet is never an easy decision, and we are so grateful we could be here to step in and give Minnie the support she needs.
​We have some great news to share: Minnie has officially received a clean bill of health! 🎉 Now, we are focusing on getting her the oral health care she desperately needs to live her absolute best, most fulfilling life.
​🦷 What's next for Minnie?
Her much-needed dental surgery is officially scheduled for July 16th. Once her smile is all fixed up, this little lady will be completely ready to take on the world!
