Paul comprised of seasoned amateur singers representing the rich choral heritage of the upper Midwest.

What a remarkable week this was for Two Rivers Chorale, with the blessing of time with Elaine Hagenberg rehearsing, shaping and performing her new piece “Aeterna Via” with a stellar chamber orchestra! What a gift, and a truly transformational experience. If you missed it, the Minnetonka Choral Society performs it on Sunday, May 3 at 3:00pm at Wayzata Community Church. Our homage to British choral music was enhanced by our guest artist Ju Young Lee and guest conductor Paul von Kampen. It was a rich smorgasbord of glorious music, and we were grateful to a wonderful audience in attendance. "Spirit, give me power to climb, and wash in fountains filled with Light!"

Two Rivers Chorale performs grand sacred music from the British Isles with organ, and the exciting premiere performance of “Aeterna Via” a new major work by Elaine Hagenberg with a professional chamber orchestra. Join us for glorious music by Sir John Rutter, Gerald Finzi, John Tavener, Sarah MacDonald, Philip Stopford, Jonathan Dove, and Paul Mealor. Featuring guest conductor Paul von Kampen, guest organist and pianist Ju Young Lee, and TRC conductor Timothy Sawyer.

Glorious sacred music by Johannes Brahms, David C. Dickau, Elaine Hagenberg, John Orfe, Volodymyr Khlysta, Craig Courtney, Shawn Kirchner, Emma Davis, spirituals and gospel. Our second and final concert with Wayzata Symphony was another resounding success! Kudos to this wonderful partnership and the brilliance of Bauder, Boulanger and Brahms! What a great audience we have. Special thanks to all of our choir and orchestra members and our soloists Emma Davis and Gerard Sundberg.

Great music for choir and orchestra with stellar soloists Emma Davis and Gerard Sundberg with an amazing audience in a remarkable venue. Want more superlatives? We are excited to be able to re-mount Johannes Brahms' "A German Requiem" with the Wayzata Symphony Orchestra and our choral collaborators in the Edina Chorale under the baton of Hannah Schendel, WSO's music director. It's going to be epic. Three amazing ensembles, two stellar soloists with baritone Gerard Sundberg and soprano Emma Davis in two incredible venues. Premiere performance of "Arise" by Minnesota composer Joshua Bauder. Free admission. Donations gratefully accepted! You won't want to miss it.
