U of M Production Agriculture Symposium The 2019 symposium will occur on Friday, March 8th. This year's theme is Dialing in: Precision Agriculture in Action. All are welcome!

A student led symposium in its fourth annual rendition. This year’s topic Increasing Cropping System Diversity While Maintaining Yield and Profit, brings in researchers from a diversity of disciplines. The opening keynote will be given by Dr. Marisol Berti of NDSU. Following the morning keynote a poster competition and exhibitor session will be held. Breakout sessions will then offer research on t

opics from new and alternative crops to cropping rotations. After lunch, a panel made of farmers, agriculture and government professionals will share their experiences with alternative cropping systems and answer questions. Dr. Lisa Schulte Moore will give the closing keynote. The day will conclude with a happy hour and time for open interaction with attendees at the Urban Growler - Hayloft Space.
