Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

What an incredible weekend we had last week! We kicked the day off with our first annual North Fairhaven Open Air Market Fall Festival, where we saw our most attendees for our market yet! We gave away prizes for "Best Booth Decoration" to Brillon Leather, and "Best Costume" to Sister's Magnetic Bond! We also gave an honorable mention to Trinitie as Sandy Cheeks! The team at NFIA can not thank Mrs. Jackson and KC Confections enough for their work to put this amazing day on! They were instrumental in planning!
Cottrell Bros. donated the Bounce House, and Melanie Reis-Costa, agent at BOLD Real Estate hosted pumpkin painting while The Paulino's did face painting- We love our community!

Then, the gnomes NFIA Gnomes came out to play and we hosted our 76th annual Halloween Horribles Parade! We love seeing all the costumes, and thank you to Miss New Bedford, Miss New Bedford Teen and Miss Apple Peach JR for being our special guests judges, and for leading the parade along with our Grand Marshall, State Rep Mark Sylvia!

Fairhaven is the best place to live, and we love bringing everyone down to Livesey Park for a day of fun! Thank you to everyone who continues to donate, volunteer, and sponsor our events! We truly couldn't do it all without you!

The moment we have all been waiting for! Let me just say, its good to be back!

Mrs. Jackson , KC Confections and I have been working around the clock to make this the best event it can possibly be. We are so excited for the day we can hardly wait!

Why our products?

My personal journey with asthma inspired me to explore homemade, natural alternatives to everyday products. That experience grew into a passion for creating thoughtfully made products and sharing them with others.

Why Fairhaven?

In many ways, Fairhaven called us here. What began as a possible yoga studio became a home for our apothecary. Learning about Robin’s Village Barn and its history of supporting local makers made us feel honored to continue that legacy.

We’re so grateful our path led us to Fairhaven. It feels like reawakening something that has always belonged here, one local maker, one meaningful connection, and one open door at a time.

The Heart Behind The Soda Lab 🥤

Meet The Soda Lab at our Fall Fest! But first, get to know the heart behind the business.

Why my products?

My why is pretty simple! I don’t drink alcohol, and I’m around children often, so I wanted to create something the whole family could enjoy together. I’ve always loved mixing and creating drinks, but strawberry lemonade could only take me so far. I wanted to turn that creativity into something bigger: fun, unique drinks that adults and kids could get excited about and try for the first time. The possibilities are truly endless!

Why Fairhaven?

Fairhaven is our home! It’s where we created and launched The Soda Lab. Through this business, I’ve met amazing people, built relationships, and felt firsthand how much this community supports local businesses and each other. Fairhaven has given The Soda Lab a place to grow. It’s our home and our heart, and I’m proud we get to be part of this community.
