We’re excited to welcome Pete Hocking to the The Academy building as part of this year’s Fairhaven Summer Art Gallery!

Pete Hocking is a celebrated Cape Cod painter, teacher, curator, and writer whose work explores the beauty of nature, place, and identity. A longtime faculty member at RISD and a founding board member of Provincetown Commons, his work is widely admired throughout New England.

Come experience Pete’s inspiring paintings every Saturday in July from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. at the Academy Building, hosted by the Fairhaven Historical Society. A portion of all sales will benefit the Fairhaven Historical Society.

Admission is free—we hope you’ll stop by

The Fairhaven Historical Society is pleased to announce Harrison Zheng as the 2026 Enrique Goytizolo Scholarship recipient. Mr. Zheng will continue his education at Harvard University in the fall. Congratulations Harrison!
