Historic Hills Scenic Byway traverses 110 miles of rolling hills, state parks, forest land and rural communities in southeastern Iowa. Take a trip and experience history, culture and so much more in our little corner of the state.

The newly installed Historic Hills Scenic Byway kiosk welcomes visitors to the Historic Hills Scenic Byway as they begin their journey at the Wabash Depot Museum Complex in Moravia. The kiosk features Moravia's history and must see sites near the historic depot as well as a full map of the byway and many other places to explore on the back panel.

The Historic Hills Scenic Byway is fortunate to have a dedicated group of individuals working behind the scenes to help the byway thrive through tourism, economic development, community connections, and new projects throughout southeastern Iowa.

These council members bring a wealth of experience from the many hats they wear in their communities. Please join us in thanking them for the time, ideas, energy, and enthusiasm they contribute to the byway and the communities they serve!
