What did kids learn yesterday(day 5)at 5-Day Club?

In yesterday's Bible lesson God told Philip to do something crazy-to leave a thriving ministry in Samaria and walk to a deserted place 60 or 70 miles away. Philip obeyed and encountered an Ethiopian treasurer on his way back home from Jerusalem. The treasurer had a copy of the book of Isaiah and was confused. He needed someone to explain it to him. Philip was just the person! He got into the chariot with the Ethiopian and explained the Gospel to him. By God's grace the treasurer understood and believed on Jesus. He asked to be baptized and went on his way, now a believer in Christ.

Philip's obedience was crucial to God's plan. He did something that seemed crazy and uncomfortable but God used it to accomplish something great.

Children who haven't believed on Jesus were invited to believe that God's grace is available to them just like the Ethiopian treasurer. Children who have believed on Jesus were encouraged to be obedient to God even when it doesn't make sense.

Started our 8th 5Day Club for the summer yesterday at Bethel Bible Church in Argyle. As we started club we lost power at the church, but our teens kept teaching like nothing happened! Thankful to be able to partner with churches in Southeast Iowa and our teens willingness to charge the gospel with the younger kids!

This week we are doing 5Day Clubs at the Danville community Center and Centenary Methodist Church in Morning Sun. The teens are doing a great job this week! We have had a great turnout for both clubs. It’s exciting to share the gospel with these young kids and see what God will do in their lives.

Mid week at one of our 5 Day clubs. It’s so encouraging to watch our teens lead the younger kids and share the gospel. Please continue to be praying for all the teens involved in CYIA this summer.

This evening we had our 5Day Club at the Fairfield Friends Church. We had a great time. If you have any kids ages 5-12 come join us this week 6-7:30 pm! We will be here every evening through Friday.
