Another beautiful day, another reason to celebrate the amazing women of the Fairfield Women’s Club 💐
We gathered at the charming McElhinny House for a delightful luncheon filled with friendship, inspiration, and a whole lot of heart. Our guest speaker, Julie Johnston, shared a story that truly moved us—what started as a simple desire to donate quilts turned into something much bigger. With no Iowa chapter of Quilts for Kids available, Julie took initiative and helped bring that mission to life right here at home.
Now, alongside our wonderful president Jeannie Belgarde, she is creating handmade quilts that are donated to children in hospitals—wrapping them in comfort when they need it most. 💕 The quilts are absolutely stunning, and the impact is even greater. They are always welcoming helping hands, so if you love to sew, support, or simply want to be part of something meaningful, this is a beautiful way to get involved.
🎉 Parade Fun Alert! 🎉
We’re also gearing up for the July 2 Community Parade! If you’d like to join in the fun, reach out to Toni Griffiths—she has arranged for two cars so members can ride along together. The theme? Dresses from different eras! Think vintage, classic, groovy, or glamorous—this is your moment to shine and celebrate in style.
We are so proud of the passion, creativity, and generosity within this group. It’s what makes the Fairfield Women’s Club so special 💛
