Trainees and Alumni got to partake in another session of instruction with Chef Mike from 16Eleven as prep continues for Housing Hope's upcoming fundraiser.

Today's focus was on the process of preparing Cauliflower Steak, complete with purple cauliflower purée, pistachio, candied yuzu peel, and microgreens. We are so thankful to Mike for spending time with us and giving trainees this incredible opportunity to grow their skills even further!

Trainees and Alumni from HopeWorks got an incredible training experience today with Chef Mike Lim from 16Eleven in preparation for Housing Hope's upcoming Summer Dinner fundraiser. Today, during the first of a few sessions, instruction began on how to artistically craft one of the event's menu signature options; a Smoked & Silk Tart featuring smoked salmon, eel, sweet soy, yuzu creme fraiche, fried capers, and dill.

We got to sample the dish today and everyone in attendance at the Summer Dinner is in for a real treat! Thank you to Chef Mike for joining us and providing such a unique experience for our trainees.
