On this day 8 years ago, LPA was announced to the public as Ludus Youth Theatre Group! Once a small group of 20 youth and a board of adult volunteers, we have grown into the program we are today.

This last year has been one of immense growth, with the acquisition of our own venue in Snohomish, our first annual Gala, and the beginning of our grandest production yet, Beauty and the Beast! We cannot wait to see what the future holds. Thank you to everyone who has supported us over these last 8 years. Here's to many more!

In these unprecedented times, production houses all over the world have had to find new ways to deliver art to their communities in safe and effective ways. It is our responsibility to do what we can in the fight against this pandemic, playing our part to keep those around us safe and supporting those we can who need a helping hand.

We know what resources we have, and we know how we can help. With school closures across the state and remote learning the new norm, this poses a new question to families. Being home all day with minimal interaction can be tough for students, and it can be hard on parents who have full time jobs and a schedule that makes adding the role of full time teacher to it almost impossible.

Here is where our new program comes into play! Starting September 8th, we will be offering a daily place for you to drop your student off to get remote school work done with others their age along with support from our dedicated instructors. We have ample space for social distancing and have safety procedures in place to make this a safe and, emphasis on FUN, learning environment! Each month will have new themed activities and include singing, music, arts & crafts, and movement activities to help keep active!

Hours of operation: Monday - Friday, 10:00am-2:00pm
Drop off starting at 9:30am, Pick up by 2:30pm

Beginning September 8th, 2020!
Call us for questions, pricing and to reserve your spot!

Who We Are

Our Mission

Ludus Performing Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping young, creative people explore their passion for the theatre arts. We are committed to providing children and young adults with performing arts opportunities that are available to all cultures, income, and ability levels (including children with special needs), while creating a professional quality production. We want to promote the development of a lifelong appreciation for live theatre and create an environment of learning, pride and inspiration.

What We Do

Everyone in Ludus is given the chance to be involved in all aspects of the production process as well as performance opportunities. Production experiences include: set design, choreography, and the back stage technical process. Adult and young adult mentors guide and encourage along the way. At Ludus, the youth have a voice in the production and have the opportunity to explore and share ideas as we put together a professional-quality production to perform for the community. Our mentoring and training opportunities offer skills and education advantages for possible future careers in the live theater entertainment field
