WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!!!!
DSMC was founded 06 October 2013, on the beautiful island of Oahu, in Hawaii by Devin “Gunner” Ogg, Alfred “Bully” Mendiha (Retired), Will “Coach” Stevenson, and Casey “Priest” McGahen. We are a club that loves to ride, laugh, and just have a great time. Our club is Military based and yes most of our members are Service Members, but we come from all walks of life both Military and Civilian. We also have chapters that are established VMCs as well and run with veteran membership only.
We are a motorcycle club with brothers and sisters that decided to create a family of our own. Formed on the basis of brother/sisterhood and structured on the principles of the Military, we are a family we are proud of.
Our philosophy is “Work, Family/Club” in that order, because for us we need the first two in order to sustain the third. But the Family and Club are so close together the line is nothing more than a blur.
We try our best to form our chapters as close to Military Installations as possible to make the support of the military, veterans and their families easier but at the same time we know that not all veterans live by a base. Check out our site, say hello, join us on one of our rides/events, and see if we might be a family you would like to be a part of. Just know that no matter what, as long as you give respect you will get respect. We respect those that earn it, not demand it.
Not everybody gets along all of the time but believe us when we say that we are as much drama free as we can possibly get.
**NOTE TO OTHER CLUBS AND ANY POTENTIAL MEMBERS**
**INDEPENDENT BIKERS**
If you are looking for a family based veterans club that supports the Military and Veterans and you think you might be interested in DSMC then please shoot us a message. We are not what some might consider a “traditional” style club. Yes we are bikers, yes we wear patches and yes most of us are service/veteran members. We love to ride but to be clear, we are 100% family oriented and military supported. We claim no territory, we are not a support club and we do not engage in any illegal activity.
**OTHER CLUBS** If you have an event that supports a charity we will of course show our support, especially if it is military/veteran based. All you have to do is ask/invite us. We are not here to get in anybody’s way and we do our best to get along with everybody. As motorcycle lovers and veterans we are simply here to support the Military communities and help however we can to take care of our brothers and sisters in arms while enjoying the open road. We are not here take anything away from any other organization. As stated above, we claim no territory and our membership is strictly geared towards the military/veteran community but are not restricted to that as we do have non military members. We will show our respect as long as you do the same. Leave us alone and we will do the same for you.
