October is LGBTQ+ History Month.

This month is a time to recognize the people, stories, movements, and moments that have shaped LGBTQ+ history. It is also a reminder that visibility, belonging, and community support matter all year long.

For 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, learning that LGBTQ+ people have always been part of history can be powerful. It can help young people feel seen, connected, and less alone.

At Globe Northwest, we believe honoring history is also part of building the future. When we recognize the courage, creativity, and leadership of LGBTQ+ communities, we help create space for the next generation to feel proud of who they are.

This October, we are celebrating history, community, and the ongoing work of making sure every young person knows they belong.

Scholarship applications open tomorrow.

Pride Foundation’s 2027 Scholarship applications open Sunday, October 11. This is an opportunity for LGBTQ+ students across the Northwest to explore scholarship support, learn about eligibility, and prepare for the application process.

At Globe Northwest, we believe sharing resources is one way we help youth, families, and community members stay connected to opportunities that can make a meaningful difference.
