Come see us at the city of Bothell Sustainamania event on September 26th! You can get your household items fixed AND enjoy an amazing event full of food, music, vendors, and local organizations fighting to protect our planet.

You may know the Repair Cafe fixes bikes, jewelry, clothing, electronics, lamps, vacuums, toys... okay you get the idea.
But did you know we also have computer software experts? Our volunteers can debug your laptop, improve efficiency, help you navigate unfamiliar apps and software, and even put your device on a whole new operating system!
Linux is an alternative to Microsoft if your laptop is working fine but can't handle the upgrade to Windows 11. Linux is free, community-owned, and continuously developed. But many people hesitate to take the plunge. That’s why we are offering help installing and navigating Linux at our upcoming Repair Cafés. Will you join us?
Our volunteers will help you download, install, and use this new operating system at the Repair Cafe.

Please back up your device’s data to an external hard drive or USB before the event to speed up the process. Installing Linux will delete all data from your computer.

Come see us at the Snohomish Library on Saturday, August 15th from 10am to 2pm and we'll get your device sorted!

The Promotores del Medio Ambiente keep our local waterways clean and teach folks how to reduce waste and toxicity at home and in their communities. By delivering their programs in Spanish and English, they reach a broader, more diverse audience that ensures everyone has the ability to learn more about protecting our planet and health.
