This year’s 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Autzen was powerful, moving, and truly unforgettable. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who put in the hard work to make it such a meaningful event. The speakers, honor guard, pipes and drums, volunteers, and participants, each of you helped create a day that was not only memorable, but deeply impactful.

Your efforts honored the lives lost, the courage of first responders, and the resilience that continues to inspire us all.

There’s a special sense of accomplishment that comes with finishing all 110 flights. Each step carried meaning, and reaching the that 110th was more than just the end of the climb—it was honoring the lives remembered with every flight. Receiving the challenge coin from Chief Resch, Chief Skinner, or Chief Bishop for completing the climb made the moment even more powerful. Having the chiefs there to commemorate the accomplishment with us made it unforgettable.
