LET’S HELP MAKE THIS REUNIFICATION A SUCCESS! 💛

A sweet one-year-old is getting closer to an incredible milestone—reunification with their parent! 🎉🏡

This is such an exciting step, and we have an opportunity to rally around this family and help make their transition back home as smooth and successful as possible. They need some extra support to get set up and ready for this new chapter. Specifically, they need a crib frame and mattress.

🍎GRAB A TAG & HELP RESTOCK BRIGHTER SIDE 🤩

🌳The Back-to-School Giving Tree at Valley River Center is helping to benefit the Brighter Side Giving Store this year! Select an “apple tag” in front of JCPenney, purchase the item listed on the tag from any retailer, and leave it in the donation bin.

🏐 Help this young athlete get back on the court! 💙

This youth was recently reunified with her father 🥳and is excited for a fresh start—including trying out for her high school volleyball team! She missed last season due to unforeseen circumstances, so making the team this year would be especially meaningful to her.

She is in need of women’s size 6 Nike JA 3 Pink Foam volleyball shoes and elbow pads to help her get ready for the season. Tryouts are next week, and while she has shoes she can use for tryouts, the season begins shortly afterward, making this a time-sensitive need.

When Every Child Lane County put out a call for donations, we were happy to help! Here's what Jeriah and Tim dropped off:

💼 A secure filing system for a young woman aging out of foster care, helping her safely store important documents as she begins living independently.
🚲 A bike for a young adult in an Independent Living program, providing reliable transportation to work, family visits, and more independence.
🎨 A fun art case for children in a foster home that recently welcomed additional kids, giving them creative ways to stay entertained throughout the summer.
📚 A bookcase for a teen girl and book lover who recently moved into a new foster home and needs a place to store her growing collection.

We're grateful for organizations like EveryChild and for team members like Jeriah, whose volunteer work helps connect us with opportunities to support kids and young adults in our community!

🎉 Birthday Wish Alert! 🚲❤️

This sweet girl recently reunified with her mom and is settling into an exciting new chapter of life. As they navigate this transition together, she's looking forward to celebrating her birthday on August 9.

One thing at the top of her birthday wish list? A red mountain bike! 🚴‍♀️ It would give her the chance to enjoy an activity she loves, build confidence, and create joyful memories during this special season.
