Parenting Now Serving children and families through parenting education programs since 1978.

Parenting Now is a nonprofit organization that provides parenting education and support to families with young children. We bring parents of young children together to:

• share parenting experiences
• increase their knowledge of early childhood development
• learn about community resources
• create support networks among themselves

Our vision is that all children are raised by nurturing, skilled

parents. Our mission is to provide the local and global community of parents and educators the tools and resources to create and sustain healthy, safe environments for children. We believe that:
• Parenting is the most important and challenging job there is.
• Parents are their children's first and most important teachers.
• All families should have access to parenting education and support services. Our values:
• We treat each individual with respect and dignity.
• We have the knowledge, expertise, and skills to achieve excellence in our work.
• We demonstrate honesty and integrity in everything we do.
• We achieve success through effective communication and clearly understood goals and expectations.

Join us tomorrow, August 19th, from 5:00–6:30 PM for our free virtual Triple P seminar.

Screens are a big part of children’s lives, and finding the right balance can be challenging for families. This seminar will provide practical strategies to help parents and caregivers set healthy boundaries, encourage positive screen use, and support children in developing healthy digital habits.

After 26 years at our 86 Centennial Loop location, we’re excited to share that Parenting Now is relocating this Fall of 2026.

This move means being closer to our community and better accessibility for the families who make Parenting Now what it is.

Children face challenges big and small, and learning how to cope with change, manage emotions, and bounce back from setbacks are important skills for lifelong success. This seminar will share practical strategies parents and caregivers can use to help children develop confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills.
