For a mother of four, a box of groceries can mean one less worry and another meal on the table. ❤️
When Britany’s husband was out of work and bills were piling up, she turned to The Salvation Army Oceanside food pantry for support.
“That’s when everything started getting a little better,” she said.
Britany carefully stretches every box of groceries to feed her children, ages three, eight, ten, and fourteen.
“I try to use everything,” she shared. “I make it stretch for my kids.”
“Everything is getting really expensive,” Britany said. “Food for my kids comes first.”
“This place is close, and it is enough for my family,” she said. “I know I can come here and get what we need.”
“If this was not here,” she added, “it would be worse.”
Thanks to generous donors and volunteers, families like Britany’s can continue moving forward, one meal at a time. 🙏
