Last night I had a chance to meet one of my heroes, Parry Guilford. He discovered the CDH1 gene mutation that has allowed us to identify and attempt to treat Hereditary Diffuse Gastric Cancer (HDGC). Parry and his team are working diligently to bring a chemoprevention drug into production via a clinical trial. That drug could potentially help our son Wyatt and other people save their stomachs.
We are working hard this morning with our friends and family to bring a large donation from the DLH Foundation to the Save Our Stomachs celebration in Madison Wisconsin this evening hosted by No Stomach for Cancer. We are very blessed and amazed by the donations we’ve received so far. If you want to be a part of our contribution tonight, please make your tax-deductible donation now at: https://www.paypal.com/us/fundraiser/charity/2318916. er
