ACES PA Business Week A program of Americans for the Competitive Enterprise System PBW is an exciting partnership between the education and business communities.

In 1999, ACES added Pennsylvania Business Week (PBW) to its list of economic education programs. It's an intense one-week, in-school program that teaches high school students about the American economic system, as well as extremely important business concepts and principles. ACES is proud to have been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Deve

lopment as an approved Educational Improvement Organization. Therefore, contributions to Pennsylvania Business Week may qualify for Educational Improvement Tax Credits

During the 2025–26 school year, we introduced our first-ever school-vs-school competition within the Penncrest School District. Maplewood, Saegertown, and Cambridge Springs came together to compete throughout PA Business Week, with one team earning Top Company and one school earning Top School. 🏆

We’re excited to continue the competition for the 2026–27 school year, with students coming together again at Maplewood for a week of teamwork, business challenges, and friendly competition!

Starting today until August 21, you can support ACES through Crawford Gives!

This year, our goal is to raise $2,000 to help support PA Business Week within the Penncrest School District, which includes Maplewood, Saegertown, and Cambridge Springs.

📅 PA Business Week: January 11–15, 2027

Through PA Business Week, students get a hands-on look at what it takes to create and run a business while developing teamwork, communication, and real-world skills.
